Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! I am currently accepting new clients in California. Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested in working with me.

  • Do you accept insurance?

As of March 2025, I do not accept insurance. However, there will be updates on this soon! In the meantime, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance if you have any out-of-network benefits. I also offer sliding scale options if my full fee is not accessible to you at this time.

  • Do you offer in-person sessions?

I do not provide in person sessions. All of my sessions are conducted over a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

  • What ages do you work with?

I work with teens (12+) and adults. I work with folks under 12 on a case by case basis. If you’re interested in having me work with your child under 12 years old, first of all thank you for thinking of me! Please feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss this further.

  • Can I follow you on instagram?

Yes, absolutely! However, there are some things to consider first. My account was created for educational, marketing, and and creative purposes only. It is not a replacement for therapy. If you are a past or current client, you may be violating your own confidentiality by following me and engaging with my page. Also, I will never follow current or past clients due to ethical boundaries.

  • Why "Announcing Your Place"?

“Announcing Your Place” is a line from Mary Oliver’s poem Wild Geese. The full line is, “Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting—over and over announcing your place in the family of things”. I love Mary Oliver’s poems and this felt fitting for the name of my therapy practice. I believe my work is to support my clients in announcing their place - whether that is living their life more in alignment with their values, accommodating themselves based on their needs, or moving away from behaviors and dynamics that no longer serve them.
